Breast augmentation operations are performed under general anaesthesia. Implants to be used are placed under the muscle tissue or breast tissue. These techniques make it possible to achieve a natural and distinctive breast tissue. It is important to note that the implant should be lifetime guaranteed and bio-compatibility should be tested.

Depending on the preferred area, scar occurs by the incision made from lower fold of breast, nipple or axilla. Incision scar is 3-4 cm in diameter which is slightly visible disappearing day by day.

Complications such as swelling, bleeding and displacement of implant can be avoided with the sports bra which is used immediately after the breast augmentation surgery. Processed regions are covered with special bands and the recovery period is accelerated. It is recommended to support the breast with bra for a period of 2 months after the operation. Silicone systems called drains can be placed in the surgical area to prevent fluid and blood collection under the skin. It is removed in the early period.

Silicone tissues placed under the breast tissue does not affect lactation function because it does not affect the connection between milk ducts and nipple. The breast reaches the desired size with the silicone placed.
