Hand Rejuvenation

The main purpose of hand rejuvenation operations is to replace the diminishing skin sub-tissue on the back of the hand. You can also get rid of skin blemishes by improving the quality of damaged skin. In the subcutaneous plumping procedure, fat and stem cells are filled on the back of the hand. Hand rejuvenation procedures are performed under 3 headings: replacing the fat tissue lost under the skin, improving skin quality and getting rid of skin blemishes.

1- Fat Injections: Fat tissue taken from the body is passed through certain stages and condensed. The densified filler is given to the back of the hand. The soft tissue is repaired with the fat tissue given.

2- Filling applications: Filling application, which is a simpler procedure, is preferred instead of side injection. Hyaluronic acid applications are performed in offices and show effect for more than 1 year.

3- Skin moisturizing procedures: Hyaluronic acid injections are made to moisturize and strengthen the skin, which becomes thinner and drier over time. It is done 4 times with 2 week intervals. If repeated once a year, the youth of the hands is preserved.

After the fat graft applications taken from different areas of the body, the final application results begin to be seen within a few months.

Smokers should quit smoking. Aspirin and other nonsteroidal painkillers should be avoided due to the risk of bleeding. If the patient is taking medications for other diseases, he/she should continue to use them in consultation with his/her doctor.

Some of the fat given after fat injection is lost, but the targeted fullness can usually be achieved in one go. Stem cells given during fat injection provide a permanent regeneration of the hand skin. The hand rejuvenation package with PRP, Hydrate, fillers and micro-abrasion should be repeated every 1-2 years.
