Mid-Face Lift

Mid-Face Lift

The mid-face lift surgery is a different surgery than facelift surgery. It is applied rather to remove deformations affecting the cheekbone and lower eyelid area. While the classical facelift surgery is generally performed in elderly patients, the mid-face lift surgery can be applied also in younger patients.

The purpose of the mid-face lift surgery is to improve the mid-face changes which occur due to ageing and gravity and to provide a more dynamic and youthful appearance. The effect of this intervention alone on lower face and neck area is much less than the facelift surgery. Adequate rejuvenation can usually be achieved with mid-face lift only at an early age, but ideal results can be obtained with other rejuvenation surgeries in older ages.
