Genital Aesthetics

Genital aesthetic surgery is a surgical operation intended to remove changes in the female genital organ seen which occur congenitally or over the years. Genital problems cause psychological and social problems in women. Sexual experiences of couples are also affected by this situation. Genital aesthetics allow the vagina to rejuvenate and stay in form, as in the face area.

Genital area aesthetics (vaginal aesthetics) provide the reorganization of excess fat deposits by surgical interventions in the orgasmic area composing of the one-third of the outer vagina, inner and outer lips, width of the vagina, the area above pubis vagina called as perineal area and inner parts of the leg.

There are many applications to the genital area in terms of external appearance and internal structure. The most common surgical interventions include labioplasty (shaping of the genital lips, enlargement or reduction of the lips), vaginoplasty (transformation of the vagina that is enlarged by birth and other factors into the desired shape). The goal in genital aesthetics is to obtain a natural result both in terms of function and aesthetics.

According to the surgical method used for genital aesthetic, daily care should be done in the first days on the incision line in the genital area. The patient is supported with painkillers and antibiotics given after the operation. Heavy sports should not be done for 3 weeks after the surgery and sexual intercourse should be avoided for 6-8 weeks.
